Bookbinder’s Pepper Pot Soup
A legendary Philadelphia flavor; A hearty, thick, spicy tomato based stew with premium cod, carrots, onions and macaroni. Pepper Pot is a traditional Philadelphia area specialty stew, alleged to have been developed by the Continental Army. We make our gourmet version with a seafood cod instead of the original tripe.

Serving Instructions: Pour the contents of Bookbinder’s Pepper Pot soup into a saucepan and add a 1/2 can of water. Heat slowly over medium heat and stir frequently until hot (do not boil!).
Ingredients: Fish Broth (water, cooked fish, salt, whey, sugar, natural flavoring, yeast extract, onion powder), Cod Fish, Tomatoes, Carrots, Cooked Macaroni (semolina (wheat), durum flour, niacin, iron (ferrous sulfate), thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Potatoes, Modified Corn Starch, Bell Pepper, Wheat Flour, Margarine (soybean oil, palm oil, water, salt, lecithin, mono and diglycerides, sodium benzoate (preservative), artificial butter flavor, beta carotene (color) and vitamin A palmitate), Onion, Salt, Worcestershire Sauce (vinegar, water, molasses, corn syrup, salt, contains less than 2% anchovies, tamarind extract, sugar, spices, garlic powder, caramel color, xantham gum, and natural flavors), Spices, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Parsley, and Oleoresin Paprika.
